Jim Racine is a 3rd generation auctioneer, started by his grandfather, Gene Racine, in 1904, over 100 ears of auctions in Cecil County and surrounding areas. Jim is a licensed and bonded auctioneer, graduated from The Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in Highpoint, North Carolina. He also is a certified appraiser and is a member of the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. He specializes in Personal property appraisals for estate purposes, insurance, divorces and for your personal knowledge. He operates large auction facility in Rising Sun, Maryland just minutes off I-95, conveniently located between Baltimore, MD (45 miles) and Philadelphia, PA (40 miles) to accommodate the diverse needs of consignors which includes on-site auctions. Auctions are usually held every 2 or 3 weeks on Saturdays, throughout
the year. All auctions are consignment sales, which include estates, people moving, downsizing, divorces and clean outs. The merchandise varies from early antique to like new condition and sometimes it is new never used - furniture, toys, pottery, glassware, china, tools, household items and appliances. At times there are automobiles, firearms, coins, stamps, military items. He will also have exclusive estate or specialty auctions like firearms, coins, pottery or all new merchandise when collections warrant such an event.
